Hamilton Ward

The Hamilton Ward comprises the Brisbane northside suburbs of Albion, Ascot, Bowen Hills (north of Montpelier Road), Clayfield, Hamilton, Hamilton Northshore, Hendra, Kalinga, Newstead (north of Longland Street), Pinkenba, and Wooloowin (east of Kedron Park Road). It also includes the non-residential areas of Brisbane Airport, Eagle Farm and the northern shore of the Brisbane Port.

Councillor Julia Dixon

Julia is a proud Hamilton Ward resident who is passionate about representing her community. As a professional and working mum she understands the challenges facing residents whether they are a small business owner, a growing family or a retiree.

Prior to becoming a Councillor, Julia had a diverse career and most recently worked for a peak industry body as a Senior Policy Advisor. Every day she strives to bring her energy, experience and enthusiasm to be an effective voice at City Hall.

Julia serves on the Transport Committee, the Finance and City Governance Committee and the Economic Development, Nighttime Economy and the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games Committee.
