Free guided tours are available inside City Hall, at 10.30am, 11.30am and 1.30pm, 7 days a week.

Clock Tower tour

Take a ride up to the iconic City Hall Clock Tower from 10.15am-4.45pm 7 days a week. Entry is free, however, bookings are required. Visit the Museum of Brisbane website to book online, or phone 07 3339 0845.

The City Hall clock does not chime over the weekends at the request of local businesses, churches and hotels.

Museum of Brisbane

Cafes

Marhaba Cafe

Australian Red Cross in partnership with The Good Food Project is pleased to open a new cafe at the historic Brisbane City Hall Red Cross Tea Rooms site. The Marhaba Cafe will be operated by the Good Food Project, a social enterprise established in 2016. Marhaba is an Arabic welcome greeting. The Good Food Project supports community members who experience social exclusion and homelessness. The cafe offers a freshly prepared daily menu as well as frequently changing specials created by qualified staff.

Marhaba Cafe operates from 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday at the Red Cross Tea Rooms in the City Hall basement, 64 Adelaide Street.

Shingle Inn Cafe

Shingle Inn City Hall is the reincarnation of Brisbane's oldest cafe originally opened in 1936 on Edward Street. Now within City Hall, the original Shingle Inn cafe is located on the ground floor just off the King George Square entrance. Open Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 2pm.
