Council is bringing back the popular $2 Summer Dips initiative from December to February to encourage residents to enjoy Council pools for less this summer.

Whether you're an experienced swimmer or looking to learn to swim, Yeronga Park Memorial Swimming Pool is a great place to take a dip. It has four swimming pools (enclosed heated programs pool, 50 metre heated outdoor pool, 25 metre heated outdoor pool and children wading pool) and offers swimming lessons, stroke development classes, kiosk and more. Yeronga Park Memorial Swimming Pool is open during summer and winter.

The complex is open all year round. The wading and water play pool and water play area is closed in winter.

Note: The 12m heated pool is available for water walking Monday-Friday 5–7am and Saturday 5.30–7am.

Upcoming pool closures

The 50m pool will be closed to the public for private events on the following days:

  • Friday 21 February 2025 - There will be 4 lanes in the 25m pool and the Wade pool open to the public during this time.

  • for six-10 year olds, constant active supervision is required by a parent or guardian. Be prepared to get wet and enter the water with this age group
  • for 11-14 year olds, parents or guardians must physically check on children on a regular basis.
