Take a walk through the Botanic Gardens and enjoy some observational sketching ‘in the open air’. Be inspired by the shapes, lines and textures of our exotic plant specimens and immerse in botanical art. No experience necessary – we will guide you with exercises, techniques and inspiration. All materials provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Presented by the Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mt Coot-tha Education Team. Please bring a snack and a keep cup or water bottle. This workshop supports the Botanic Gardens’ commitment to creating a plant loving community dedicated to putting the ‘plant back into planet’. Ideal for those 16 years and older.
