Attention all dog lovers, fur-parents and canine companions! On Saturday 19 October, from 8am to 11am, Victoria Park is hosting the ultimate Pop-Up Pooch Party—and it's completely free.
This isn’t just any doggy day out - it’s a tail-wagging, paw-some extravaganza where pups take centre stage! The event kicks off with training and agility workshops designed to bring out the best in every pup. For those who love to show off, the dog trick competition offers the perfect stage.
Stroll through the market stalls featuring gourmet dog treats and stylish accessories, perfect for spoiling your pooch. Your dog can enjoy the festivities, while you can indulge in a variety of brunch delights, including coffee, fresh juices and pastries.
Two dedicated pop-up off-leash areas—one for big dogs and another for small ones, providing the perfect spots for pups to run free and make new friends. The obstacle course adds an extra layer of excitement for adventurous canines. Remember to eye to keep an eye on your pup and be aware of their behaviour.
As the pooch party wraps up, the fun continues with Park Vibes from 11.30am–4.30pm. It’s a day filled with live music, great vibes and even more activities to enjoy with furry friends.
Venue: Pop-Up Pooch Party is located at Gumtree Grove, near the Herston Busway Station. Parking is available via Gilchrist Avenue and surrounding streets.
