Planned Burn Changing Mountain Bushland, Kholo

A planned burn is scheduled to take place in Kholo Bushland, north of Lake Manchester Road, Kholo on Wednesday 26 February, weather permitting.

The burn will start at approximately 9am and continue into the evening.

Smoke may impact local residences and settle in surrounding areas overnight.

Brisbane City Council staff will be on site for the duration to ensure the safety of the area.

Council planned burns are conducted in a manner sensitive to the welfare of wildlife in the area and are conducted only in suitable weather conditions.
