A planned burn is scheduled to take place at Shelley Road Park, 664 Lake Manchester Road, Kholo on Friday 28 February, weather permitting.
The burn will start at approximately 9am and continue into the evening.
Smoke may impact local residences and settle in surrounding areas overnight.
Brisbane City Council staff will be on site for the duration to ensure the safety of the area.
Council planned burns are conducted in a manner sensitive to the welfare of wildlife in the area and are conducted only in suitable weather conditions.
