Kenmore Community Centre upgrade - Kenmore Hills

We're improving the Kenmore Community Centre for users.

Council is upgrading the Kenmore Community Centre. Kenmore Bridge Club, eWaste Connection and ShedWest Men's Shed currently use the centre. The works will improve access and usability.

Works include:

  • demolition of the central building
  • construction of a new building with a communal meeting space, rooms for the Bridge Club and Men's Shed and improved amenities
  • other renovations to existing facilities for each community user group.

This project is jointly funded by the Australian Government and Brisbane City Council.

  • January 2025: Site preparation works.
  • February 2025: Construction works commence, including demolition.
  • June 2025: Project completion.
