Changed traffic conditions in Woolloongabba at O’Keefe Street
From 5am Wednesday 16 April 2025, O’Keefe Street at Woolloongabba will reopen to two-way traffic with the opening of an eastbound lane through to Stones Corner.
An additional westbound lane will also reopen, as well as the southern footpath on O’Keefe Street.
One eastbound lane will remain closed while finishing works are undertaken at the plaza level of Buranda busway station, as part of the Brisbane Metro project.
O’Keefe Street has been closed eastbound to facilitate widening of the busway tunnel to support the introduction of Brisbane Metro bus rapid transit services at Buranda station in mid-2025.
