This multipurpose park in Macgregor offers a range of features that are ideal for families. It has a pirate ship playground, sporting courts, picnic facilities, and a newly built pump track.

Frew Park, Milton
Frew Park is a 3.5-hectare, feature-packed park at Milton, less than 10 minutes drive from Brisbane City. It includes 6 tennis courts for hire (Emerson Tennis Centre), a rebound court, and a play space to keep kids entertained for hours. Enjoy, cakes and snacks at the on-site coffee shop, 7 days a week.

Rocks Riverside Park, Seventeen Mile Rocks
Rocks Riverside Park is a hidden gem loved by locals. The park boasts multiple zones, Great Lawn with open grassed space, junior playground, climbing net for school-aged kids and a water play zone. You'll find plenty of gas barbecues dotted throughout the parkland to cook lunch, with some perched right on the Brisbane River.

Bradbury Park playscape, Kedron
Described as 'a playground like no other', the Bradbury Park playscape has been a hit with families since opening. This spectacular playground of towers, bridges and obstacles, as well as a magical forest keeps kids amused for hours. Sit back and enjoy a take-away coffee, or cook a barbecue, while your kids climb and explore the structures.
Bradbury Park also includes a scooter track, basketball half court, exercise equipment and dog park.

Castamore Way Park is a hidden gem located in the south-wesetern part of the city. It includes a new junior playground with a tall climbing tower and slide. The park also includes picnic facilities and a path to connect the play area with nearby streets.

Clarina Street Park, Chapel Hill
Clarina Street Park is the perfect spot for a quiet, peaceful visit to a park with kids. It includes an unfenced playground surrounded by trees, with a timber play structure (with slide) inspired by nature. The play equipment connects to a double swing set via sandstone stepping stones.
In addition to the play equipment, there is also a barbecue and picnic area.

Colmslie Beach Reserve, Murarrie
An Octopus Garden-themed playground is the star feature of Colmslie Beach Reserve, Murarrie. It includes sea creature play sculptures (octopus, fish, and a crab) and a yellow submarine for kids to climb on. Local artist, David White, designed the much loved original (installed 30 years ago) and current sculptures. The playground also has slides, climbing equipment, water play, balancing beams, flying fox and musical boat.
