Northside
1. Milne Hill Reserve, Chermside West
Climb to the lookout and viewing deck in Milne Hill Reserve in Chermside West. Access the lookout via the Pomax Track. Keep an eye out for local wildlife including tawny frogmouths and wallabies. You'll also see plant life such as pomax, banksia and native iris.

2. Keperra Bushland Reserve, Keperra

The JC Slaughter Falls picnic area is the starting point for several tracks and trails, including the popular Summit Track.
Mt Coot-tha boasts more than 50 kilometres of walking tracks, with interesting terrain that's not overly rugged.

Spanning 260 hectares and located just 10 kilometres from the Brisbane CBD, there's a walk for everyone. The longest track is 3.5 kilometres long and the shortest is just 250 metres.

Start the walk at Elanora Park and wander the 800-metre long Wynnum Mangrove Walk. Then pick up the path along the seafront, crossing Fox Bridge to reach Oyster Point where the foreshore begins.
