School recycling service

If your school has a general waste collection service with Council, you can apply for the school recycling bin service.

For each general waste bin service, we'll provide:

  • a free recycling bin collection
  • a 240 litre or 360 litre recycling bin, or a bulk recycling bin equivalent (based on volume).

Apply for the service

Phone us on 07 3403 8888 to apply for the recycling service or check if your school qualifies.

After you apply

We'll assess your application and phone your school to discuss the right bin to suit your needs.

An onsite consultation and site inspection may be needed before a service is approved.

You might like to set up recycling hubs in your school and display signs. These posters will give your staff and students the confidence to dispose of waste and recyclables correctly.

User-pays: school recycling service

Brisbane schools that don’t have a waste collection service can apply online for the business recycling service. This is a user-pays business recycling service.
