Bin collection calendar

Brisbane City Council’s general rubbish bins, recycling bins and green waste bins are collected on the following schedule:

  • general household rubbish (red, dark green or black lid) - weekly
  • recycling (yellow lid) - fortnightly
  • green waste (lime green lid) - fortnightly.

Your bin must be on the kerbside by 5.30am on your bin collection day.
