About the Land for Wildlife program
The Land for Wildlife program helps landowners conserve and restore wildlife habitat on their property.
More than half of Brisbane's local flora and fauna is on privately owned land. By joining, you can help our native species survive.
Through the program, landowners can:
-
receive advice about planting and growing new plants (revegetation)
-
learn more about local flora and fauna species
-
understand how to conserve and restore wildlife habitat.
Join the program
Join more than 840 private landowners in helping to preserve our city's unique habitat and wildlife for the future.
Together, we're already caring for more than 2,700 hectares. That’s bigger than Mt Coot-tha Forest Reserve and Tinchi Tamba Wetlands combined!
Joining is free, voluntary and doesn't impact your land ownership rights.
