You can report unmaintained residence to Council using our online form.
This includes properties with untidy yards, overgrown gardens or hazardous objects and vegetation.
Use this form to report:
- overgrown grass and general weeds that are at least knee-high and cover 30% or more of the property
- hazardous vegetation that impacts pedestrians or motorists
- pest plants (weeds)
- unsightly objects that cover 30% or more of the property.
Before using this form
- check the issue meets the criteria of an unmaintained property
- try to resolve the problem yourself. The owner may not realise their yard is causing an issue.
