Council is replacing the air-conditioning at Banyo Library for the comfort of library users.

We're replacing the air-conditioning at Banyo Library which has operated from its current location since 1981.

Maintain operation of air-conditioning for comfort of all library users.

  • Late March 2025: Start of construction.
  • Mid-2025: Anticipated end of works, weather and site conditions permitting.

Council will provide advance notification of impactful works during construction.

The library will remain operational, with exclusion zones around works and reduced car parking. Work areas will be fenced for the safety of library users and workers. Follow any signage and detours that are in place.

You may notice an increase in noise, dust, and vibration during works.
