About the project

Taringa Playground Park is bordered by Moggill Road, Moorak Street and Marmion Parade and currently has a large field for sports, a playground and small picnic areas.

Council has identified potential opportunities for upgrades to the recreation and play facilities in this park.

Council engaged with local residents to prepare the final opportunities plan for future upgrades at Taringa Playground Park. The final opportunities plan will guide planning for future park improvements to ensure that play, sport and recreation requirements meet the needs of the Taringa and Indooroopilly community. Council will also consider the surrounding natural environment values which will be protected as part of the project.

Have your say

Council has now closed the community engagement on the draft opportunities plan and would like to thank everyone who participated and provided their input into the project.

Council will consider your feedback, along with technical investigations, site constraints and Council requirements, to prepare the Taringa Playground Park final opportunities plan which will be released in early 2025.
