Clogging shoes have double-taps which are used to create rhythms – but you don’t need clogging shoes to start dancing. Leather-soled shoes with a low heel are ideal for beginners. Clogging is cued, similar to square dancing or aerobics, dancers learn steps, not routines and we dance to a variety of music.
