50 Plus: Latino Dance Fitness - Salsa
12:45pm to 1:45pm
Suitable for 50 years and over
$10
If you love the rhythm of Latin music, have you considered learning to dance salsa?
Using the gentle dance movement of salsa, you will gain all the benefits of exercise that become so important as we get older, particularly improved bone density, flexibility of joints, muscle strength, posture, and fitness.
Learning to dance also gives us the chance to focus our mind on co-ordinating our steps. Being less complex than other forms of Latino dance such as tango. It won’t be long until you feel you have mastered the basic salsa moves.
This is a relaxed, low impact fun class and you do not need to bring along a partner. Just come along with a smile on your face and see where the music takes you.
If you can walk, count to eight and love Latin music, then you have everything it takes to learn to dance salsa!
