On the 3rd of September 1901, the Australian Flag was first flown.
Brisbane City Council will again host the traditional Flag Day ceremony in King George Square in front of Brisbane City Hall, with a flag raising by members of the Australian Defence Force.
This year's event will be held on Australian National Flag Day, Tuesday 3rd September.
