Brisbane German Week
Suitable for all ages
Free
Lovers of Germany and German things and those 200,000 Queenslanders that have German heritage - get ready to fully immerse yourself for the 9th time right here in Brisbane and embrace your inner German!
We are super excited to bring our culture to you and cure some of that Heimweh (homesickness). This year we celebrate 35 years of the fall of the Berlin Wall (1989) at the German National Day. Other exciting events include "Let’s Sauerkraut" to kick off the festival with live judging, music and fresh tastings, a movie night with German Week goodie bags, the “Original Oktoberfest” at the German Club, the science, innovation and business days, and days on bilingualism, trivia and German heritage.
