You're invited to a welcome home event to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Olympic and Paralympic athletes who competed in the 2024 Paris Games.
Co-hosted by Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Government, the event will be held at South Bank's Cultural Forecourt on Saturday 14 September 2024 from 10am-12noon.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to come along and celebrate our homegrown heroes and their success on the world stage. The event will feature live entertainment, food and activities for all ages. There will also be an opportunity to meet with Olympic and Paralympic athletes, including members of the greater Australian Olympic and Paralympic swim team.
