Brisbane City Council's Seniors Suburban Concerts presents the Queensland Police Pipes and Drums Band.
The Queensland Police Pipes & Drums (QPP&D) formed in 1958 and are the only professional band employed by the Queensland Government.
They perform at official functions, Corrective Services, Government House dinners and awards ceremonies and represents the QPS at various events such as the National Police Remembrance Day, ANZAC Day, White Ribbon Day and the Pride March.
QPP&D regularly perform at schools and community events where they provide crime prevention information with the aim to assist our front-line officers in reducing youth crime. The Queensland Police Pipes & Drums band are excited to perform for you today as part of the Seniors Suburban Concert series celebrating Queensland Seniors month.
Doors open 11am.
