Council's Festive Footpaths is a program where Brisbane residents can decorate their footpath and street trees during designated periods.
The Christmas theme period runs until 15 January 2025.

Brisbane comes alive this December with plenty of free and low-cost Christmas festivities ideal for the whole family.
Join us for the Lighting of the Christmas Tree, sing along to your favourite Christmas tunes at the Lord Mayor's Christmas Carols or drop by the Queen Street Mall for pop-up entertainment and roaming performances.

Additional bus services for pre-Christmas shopping
To coincide with extended shopping hours to midnight, additional bus services will be available from Thursday 19 to Monday 23 December, to and from major shopping areas on selected Council bus routes.
