Council's Festive Footpaths is a program where Brisbane residents can decorate their footpath and street trees during designated periods.
The Christmas theme period runs until 15 January 2025.

Join us for the Lighting of the Christmas Tree, sing along to your favourite Christmas tunes at the Lord Mayor's Christmas Carols or drop by the Queen Street Mall for pop-up entertainment and roaming performances.

Brisbane City Christmas Tree
Experience the magic of Brisbane City's iconic 22m tall Christmas tree, one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, continuing a cherished tradition dating back to the 1950s. Bring your family, snap a photo and admire this magnificent tree on display from 29 November until early January.
Join Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner for the lighting of the Christmas tree on Friday 29 November, officially kicking off the Christmas in Brisbane festivities!
