- October 2024: Release of the final concept plan.
- Early February 2025: Works expected to commence on the multi-use riding track, subject to weather.
- Late February 2025: Works expected to commence on the Lawn Street playground, subject to weather.
- Mid 2025: Works expected to be completed, subject to weather.
Glindemann Park improvements project - Holland Park
Council is improving Glindemann Park by creating a multi-use riding track and upgrading the Lawn Street playground.
Glindemann Park is one of 9 key focus areas in the Norman Creek 2012-2031 Master Plan. As part of the final concept plan for the park, we're adding a multi-use riding track and upgrading the Lawn Street playground .
The final concept plan includes the following features:
- a multi-use track with skateable elements to replace the existing skate bowl
- upgrades to the Lawn Street playground
- shelter and additional seating
- new shade sails over the Logan Road playground
- 2 new accessible parking bays
- a new footpath connection
- an elevated pedestrian pathway.
