Swan Terrace Local Area Traffic Management project - Windsor
Council is progressing planning for the Swan Terrace Local Area Traffic Management project.
As part of Council's Local Area Traffic Management project, we're planning safety improvements for people walking, driving and riding. We've reviewed feedback from community consultation and recent traffic data and are now in design phase.
Proposed treatments include:
- painting a threshold treatment on Swan Terrace at Northey Street
- installing a splitter island and painting a threshold treatment on Swan Terrace at Newmarket Road
- painting line marking, including yellow ‘No Stopping’ lines.
These treatments will:
- help to encourage slower and safer vehicle movements
- provide important safety improvements at either end of Swan Terrace.
We'll provide more information before construction begins.
