Pay a fine
You can pay your fine by phone, mail, in person or online.
You can pay a fine online with a Visa or Mastercard.
Pay a fine with BPAY through internet banking or by phoning your bank. Use the biller code and reference on the front of your infringement notice.
You can pay by credit card or from the following accounts:
- debit
- cheque
- savings
- transaction.
To pay your fine, phone Council on 1300 012 747. You should:
- have your fine with you
- pay with Visa or Mastercard.

Make sure you have your fine with you.
You can mail your fine and a cheque or money order to:

View your fines online
You can check your fine information and infringement details online using Council’s Self Service Portal.
You’ll need:
- your infringement number
- the offence date.
Apply for a payment plan
You can apply for a payment plan to pay off your fine in instalments.
Register as a new user or log in to the Self Service Portal to apply for a payment plan.
To apply, phone Council on 1300 012 747.
To apply by mail, tick the instalment option on the back of your fine and send to:

You will be notified of the outcome of your application via your preferred communication method.

Frequently asked questions
If you don’t pay a parking fine in Brisbane, the State Penalties Enforcement Registry (SPER) will take action. To avoid this and any additional fees:
- pay your fine by the due date
- ask for an extension on your fine
- phone Council on 1300 012 747 to discuss your options
- apply for a payment plan.

Council calculates fines using penalty units based on the severity of the offence. As of 1 July 2024, the value of a penalty unit is equal to $161.30.
The fine amount must be rounded down to the nearest dollar after the calculation. For example:

The fine amount for an infringement of two penalty units is: 2 x $161.30 = $322.60.
The rounded down fine amount is $322.
