For over 95 years, La Boite Theatre has connected artists and audiences through impactful stories that entertain and inspire. It features Australia’s only theatre-in-the-round and is the longest-running theatre company in the country.

Brisbane Arts Theatre, Petrie Terrace

Brisbane Arts Theatre is one of the city's most iconic independent theatre companies. Jean Trundle and Vic Hardgraves founded the theatre in 1936. For over 80 seasons, it has entertained audiences with everything from fun children's musicals to classic plays.

Brisbane Powerhouse, New Farm

The iconic Brisbane Powerhouse is one of the most well-known venues on our list. It entertains residents and visitors with a variety of comedy shows, art displays, music theatre, and more. Anywhere Festival (annual)

Expect the unexpected at the annual Anywhere Festival, where gyms, reservoirs, and backyards transform into unique performance spaces. Launched in 2011 as Brisbane's version of a fringe festival, it offers exciting storytelling across the city.
