About Seven Hills Hub

The Seven Hills Hub is a multi-purpose creative precinct that adjoins Griffith Place Park.

The venue has multiple spaces for you to hire, including the 162-seat Ron Hurley theatre and an outdoor amphitheatre. The hub is perfect for hosting:

  • performing arts and music performances 
  • community events and activities 
  • creative enterprise activities and workshops. 

There are 68 onsite parking spaces, including 2 wheelchair accessible spaces. This parking is shared with onsite tenants.

Location

You can find the venue on the corner of Tallowwood Street and Griffith Place. It’s an 18-minute drive from the CBD.

When you arrive, you’ll need to turn into Griffith Place, off Clearview Terrace.

Accessibility 

Seven Hills Hub has plenty of accessibility features to ensure everyone can enjoy the space.

They include:

  • wheelchair accessible toilets
  • 2 accessible car parking spaces
  • a continuous accessible path from the car park
  • 4 designated wheelchair seating spaces in the Ron Hurley Theatre
  • an induction hearing loop in the Ron Hurley Theatre.

Spaces for hire

You can hire spaces for community or commercial purposes. Each will incur different costs. 

Community hire is available for local community groups, not-for-profit organisations, or individuals with a focus on community-oriented activities. 

Commercial hire is available for businesses, entrepreneurs or individuals who intend to use the space for profit-generating activities or commercial purposes.  

Book the Ron Hurley Theatre or the outdoor amphitheatre anytime between Monday to Sunday, 8am–10.30pm.

Ron Hurley Theatre

The Ron Hurley Theatre is suitable for a range of occasions including performances, ceremonies and screenings. 

The theatre is equipped with high-quality facilities to ensure your night runs smoothly.

The Ron Hurley Theatre includes: 

  • 72 m2, flat, wooden stage
  • tiered seating for 162 people
  • back-of-house change rooms with toilets and shower facilities
  • air conditioning in the seated theatre area
  • circus rigging capabilities
  • audiovisual equipment (technical package information document available on request).

Outdoor amphitheatre

The outdoor amphitheatre provides a unique and scenic setting. 

The open design and natural surroundings make it a perfect option to host your next event.

The tiered amphitheatre, designed by award-winning architect Don Watson, features a 41 m2 stage.

Bond

You may have to pay a bond on top of the hiring fees.  

Bonds are sometimes held to cover additional security or cleaning costs or additional hire fees due to overstaying longer than the confirmed hire period.
