Larger bin delivery information

We’ll let you know about delivery arrangements for your new, larger recycling bin once we’ve processed your order.

While you’re waiting for the delivery:

  • place your existing recycling bin on the kerbside.

  • continue to use your recycling bin until the larger replacement bin arrives, but do not fill it to more than 50% capacity. (Any recycling bin contents will be transferred to the new bin on delivery and emptied on the next standard day of service).

  • let other members of your household and your neighbours know you’re replacing your existing recycling bin and that it needs to remain on the kerbside until Council replaces it.

  • Council has waived the $30 establishment fee when you order a larger recycling bin to replace your existing standard 240-litre recycling bin.
  • Before you order a larger recycling bin, make sure you have room to store the bins and have enough space on the kerbside to put the bins out for collection.
  • You can use the bin as soon as it is delivered. Once ordered, leave your standard 240-litre recycling bin out as if for collection. It will be swapped with your new larger recycling bin.
