Amend a permit application
You can make changes to an application (excluding referral agency wastewater management requests) that has already been approved or undergone assessment.
To do this, you must lodge an application to amend a permit for proposed changes to be assessed and approved.
Supply the following documents:
- completed Form 2 - Application to amend a permit including an extension of time
- description of the proposed changes
- any other revised documents relevant to the changes.
Documents based on application type
You may also need to supply other documents depending on your application type.
- For residential works, you need revised site and floor plans (if applicable to the changes).
- For commercial works, you need revised hydraulic plans (only pages with changes, with all changes identified).
- For works limited to onsite sewage facilities, you need a revised site plan along with a site and soil evaluation.
You must pay the relevant fees using the credit card authorisation form.
For Building Type Other Than Dwelling (commercial) application amendments, you pay fixture assessment and backflow device fees for each additional fixture or device. This is compared to the previous approved version of the plan, regardless of past amendments to remove those fixtures or devices.
