Amend a permit application

You can make changes to an application (excluding referral agency wastewater management requests) that has already been approved or undergone assessment.

To do this, you must lodge an application to amend a permit for proposed changes to be assessed and approved.

1 Prepare your supporting documents

Supply the following documents:

  • completed Form 2  - Application to amend a permit including an extension of time
  • description of the proposed changes
  • any other revised documents relevant to the changes.

Documents based on application type

You may also need to supply other documents depending on your application type.

  • For residential works, you need revised site and floor plans (if applicable to the changes).
  • For commercial works, you need revised hydraulic plans (only pages with changes, with all changes identified).
  • For works limited to onsite sewage facilities, you need a revised site plan along with a site and soil evaluation.

Note

Commercial applications already lodged with Council can be broken up into smaller stages upon request. Consider staging an application if you want to remove fixtures to split it into smaller parts.
