Tips to plan your response

When you find a tender, keep these tips in mind as you plan your response.

Our requirements may be different to the way you might normally do business. Keep this in mind when structuring your submission.

Remember to:

  • offer brief or detailed responses where appropriate
  • showcase your capabilities.

Take every opportunity to put your best foot forward.

Check that you understand and meet the evaluation criteria.

Demonstrate your ability to meet the criteria. Use your previous experience to give examples.

Ask questions if there’s anything you don’t understand.

The tender’s Contact Officer is available to answer any queries you have related to the contract.

Are you offering value for money?

Think about where you can add value to your tender submission to make it stand out.

Identify the legal entity in your tender. This helps us understand who we’re evaluating from the moment evaluation begins.
