Follow these steps:

  • Click on the relevant tender title link in the released tenders table below.
    • Note: An email template with a pre-populated email address will open – this is a direct link to the tender event within Council’s tender system (SAP Ariba) and not addressed to a person.
       
  • Add to the email subject line:  Company name, the words 'REQUEST TO VIEW TENDER' and the Tender title.
     
  • In the body of your email, include:
    • Australian Business Number (ABN)
    • Business name
    • Contact name
    • Contact email
    • Contact phone
    • SAP Ariba supplier number (if you have already registered as a supplier with Council)
       
  • Important – if you are not yet registered in Council's supplier portal, please confirm this in your email and include:
    • Your legal entity name.
    • Street address and contact details for your place of business that will provide the goods, services, or works to Council. If you have a relevant local office in SEQ provide these details. 
    • Confirmation your company is an Australian entity for tax purposes.

Council is seeking tenders to establish a panel arrangement for the ongoing intermittent hire of plant and equipment on both wet and dry hire bases. This arrangement will provide various types of plant, trucks and specialised equipment to facilitate a range of construction and maintenance projects and services undertaken by Council. Closed and awarded tenders

Council publicly advertises tenders that have been released to the market and passed the final submission date (close date). These tenders are currently being evaluated by Council.

Once a contract is signed with the preferred supplier, the tender becomes awarded. This is the end of the tendering process.

Pre-qualified registers

A pre-qualified register is used to identify suppliers who can deliver projects based on the project size, type, location and the supplier's capabilities.

Registers are open at different times. Make sure to check that the register you want to join is currently accepting submissions.

You can prepare for a tender submission by making sure that you:

  • understand the requirements of the tender
  • develop a response that addresses all criteria
  • gather any necessary supporting documents 
  • review your submission before the deadline.

The tender process can vary in duration depending on the project. After a submission period closes, Council assesses tenders as fast as possible with a successful bidder notified as soon as a decision is finalised.
