Greener Suburbs program

Brisbane City Council's Greener Suburbs program aimed to improve the clean, green feel of locations across Brisbane through increased tree planting and landscaping.

As part of our commitment to growing a greener Brisbane, we planted more street and park trees and installed subtropical boulevards along several arterial roads to enhance the liveability of our neighbourhoods.

Shady and attractive streets are an important part of the unique character of Brisbane’s suburbs and our outdoor, subtropical lifestyle.
