Creative lighting projects

Brisbane’s impressive buildings, iconic bridges and magnificent trees create the perfect canvas for outdoor creative lighting installations.

Council installs decorative lighting across the city to enhance its natural and urban features, support local events and highlight issues important to the community. Installations include ambient projections, lightboxes, LED festoon lighting and bud lights.

Charities and organisations can promote an event or campaign by lighting up a Council asset. This includes the Story Bridge, Brisbane City Hall and the Tropical Display Dome at Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens.
