Frew Park is an inner-city parkland, just a 12-minute drive from Brisbane’s CBD.
Pick a spot on the green, settle in under a picnic shelter, use a barbecue or enjoy a refreshment at the cafe. The park also features exercise equipment, a booking site and a huge playground with climbing structures, slides and games.
Formerly the Milton Tennis Centre, Frew Park has retained its tennis connections. The park is home to the Roy Emerson Tennis Centre and Wendy Turnbull Green.

Roy Emerson Tennis Centre
Perfect your backhand and improve your fitness at the Roy Emerson Tennis Centre.
Named after one of Brisbane's tennis greats, the Roy Emerson Tennis Centre includes 6 tennis courts, a rebound court and other amenities.

Wendy Turnbull Green
Play a ball game, throw a birthday party or picnic on the Wendy Turnbull Green.
The large open space is surrounded by picnic tables and has a pathway around the perimeter - perfect for riding scooters and bikes.
The green is named in honour of Wendy Turnbull, another of Brisbane’s tennis greats.
The Arena playground
Children 10-15 years of age will have hours of fun at The Arena playground. Designed with a tennis and construction theme, the upper section of The Arena includes a huge slide, ledges for climbing and parkour and a curling slide.
The lower section caters for younger children and people of all abilities. It includes smaller slides, swings and interactive games.
The Arena includes:
- a large climbing wall
- a large 3-metre wide, 3-metre high, slide
- various angled surfaces for climbing
- seating ledges for social interaction
- climbing nets and cages, including a mesh cage 8 metres off the ground
- a large, curling, 5-metre high, slide.

Bookings only apply to the site. You can’t book barbecues or playgrounds. You must share these facilities with other park users.
