Facilities and activities

Set amongst tropical gardens, Chermside Aquatic Centre is a large public pool complex. It has a 25-metre heated outdoor lap pool, as well as a heated 16-metre indoor pool for programs including learn-to-swim and group fitness classes. You can join the squad to develop your swimming skills, with all abilities catered for. Additionally, the centre has an outdoor fitness area and a kiosk on site.

Chermside Aquatic Centre is a popular destination for a family day out, birthday party or group get-together. The water park and lagoon play area is open on weekends and school holidays during the summer swim season (October-April).

Make sure you understand the conditions, fees and safety information before entering.

  • Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied and supervised by someone 18 years of age or older. Parents and guardians of children aged 5 and under must be in the water within arm’s reach of the child. Learn more about keeping kids safe at swimming pools.
  • 'Concession' means the holder of a Pensioner Concession Card issued by Centrelink or a Gold Card issued by the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
  • Our pools honour the Queensland Government Companion Card. This allows free entry for anyone accompanying a person with disability who requires attendant care support.

There are limited spaces in the onsite car park. Parking is available in surrounding streets.
