Facilities and activities

Visit the Emily Seebohm Aquatic Centre for a family-friendly outing or to improve your fitness.  

Find a spot on the large, grassy leisure area while the kids splash about in the heated pool. Cook on the barbecue at lunchtime or visit the cafe for a poolside meal.  

Want to get your heart rate up? Do an aqua aerobics class or practice your freestyle stroke in the 6-lane, 25-metre outdoor pool.

The centre also has specialised accessibility equipment, including a submersible wheelchair and accessible changing facilities.

Venue hire is available. Lane and medical hire is also available for individuals. Contact the centre for more information.

Entry conditions and fees  

Make sure you understand the conditions, fees and safety information before entering.

  • Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied and supervised by someone 18 years of age or older. Parents and guardians of children aged 5 and under must be in the water within arm’s reach of the child. Learn more about keeping kids safe at swimming pools.
  • 'Concession' means the holder of a Pensioner Concession Card issued by Centrelink or a Gold Card issued by the Department of Veterans' Affairs.
  • Our pools honour the Queensland Government Companion Card. This allows free entry for anyone accompanying a person with disability who requires attendant care support.
