Glindemann Park improvements project
Brisbane City Council is pleased to announce the final concept plan to upgrade Glindemann Park.
About the Project
This suburban park was identified as one of the nine key focus areas of the Norman Creek 2012-2031 Master Plan. As a result, this improvement project plans to provide more opportunities for sport and recreation, to relax and play, and meet with family and friends in one of the many places that makes our city great.
Project details
The concept plan for Glindemann Park includes:
- upgraded playground facilities including new shade sails
- new and updated picnic facilities
- multi-use track in location of existing skate bowl
- 2 new accessible parking bays.

We are committed to protecting the natural heritage values of the area, and the proposed works in the final concept plan will allow Council to retain the existing vegetation and trees.

Council has now closed community engagement phase of the project. Council would like to thank the community for taking time to provide their feedback on the project which has informed the final concept plan.
Project timing
Based on feedback from the community, Council has prioritised the delivery of the multi-use track and Lawn Street playground upgrade. Planning for these upgrades will now commence.
