Community support

Council manages 12 cemeteries and three crematoria. Our facilities provide venues for burials and cremations, and many of our cemeteries offer memorials for ashes.

Council offers free vaccinations for eligible residents aged from six weeks old and has a range of vaccines available for purchase.

Use Council's online grave search to find a person's grave location details. The grave location search tool can assist people researching their family history and genealogy.

Eligible residents can access shared taxis at scheduled times to get to the local shops for groceries and essential services.
 

Information and support for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, including citizenship information and details on the Translating and Interpreting Service for non-English speakers.
