Its open eucalypt forest and dry rainforest are home to many animal species, including the iconic koala.
You'll also find sporting fields, an enormous playground, a barbecue and picnic area, dog park and bushwalking trails. Hike to the summit to learn about the rich history of the reserve, including the residence it’s named after.

You’ll find plenty to do at Whites Hill Reserve for a great day outdoors.
Get together with friends or host a party at the barbecues, sheltered seating and picnic area next to the playground. The Common is a fully fenced playground with play equipment for children of all ages and abilities.
A short walk from the picnic area, you can play touch football, cricket or soccer, or fly kites and run on the sporting fields.
To experience the natural beauty of the reserve, go for a bushwalk. Catch glimpses of the city and the surrounding area from Whites Hill Summit or Sankey’s Mountain Outlook.

There are 13 interconnected walking tracks at Whites Hill Reserve, ranging in difficulty from easy to moderate. The Sankey’s Mountain Summit Track is wheelchair accessible, with assistance.
The 1.3-kilometre Boundary Road Bikeway also passes through the eastern side of the reserve.

Yes, there are koalas in the Whites Hill bushland. Look for them in the eucalyptus trees, as these trees are a favourite with koalas.

Leashed dogs are allowed at Whites Hill Reserve.
If you want to let your dog off the leash, visit the dog park on the south-west corner of the reserve, off Boundary Road.
