Council’s adopted charge is calculated by applying the applicable increase to the Local government proportion of the prescribed amount under s112 of the Planning Act 2016.
For further details, view Council's current infrastructure charges.
The Local government proportion is the agreed share between Council and Urban Utilities of the prescribed amounts identified in the Planning Regulation 2017. For further details on the proportions, refer to Schedule 2 of the Charges Resolution.
Note that transport, public parks and land for community facilities and stormwater network charges are levied by Council, while water supply and sewerage network charges are levied separately by Urban Utilities.
