We hold events at venues citywide, including at our business hubs. Choose from a variety of free or low-cost workshops and forums, including: 

  • networking events 
  • mentoring sessions with local business experts  
  • masterclasses on business basics such as digital marketing and business planning
  • information seminars on Council initiatives and opportunities 
  • discussions about business trends and market insights.  

The business hubs also provide free co-working and event spaces.

The Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) & Mayors’ Forum brings together local government, business and industry leaders. 

Since its establishment in 1996 by Brisbane City Council, the APCS has become a leading platform for cities and industry to identify common challenges, exchange knowledge and drive commercial outcomes.

Held every 2 years, the event gives you the opportunity to network with global corporates, city leaders, researchers and policy makers.

At APCS you can:

  • connect with city and industry leaders from throughout the Asia Pacific region and beyond 
  • exhibit your goods and services to the Summit audience
