Accessible Adult Changing Facilities

Brisbane City Council continues to create new lifestyle and leisure opportunities to benefit all residents and visitors to our city. Council has installed Accessible Adult Changing Facilities (AACFs) at various locations across Brisbane, including Council parks, pools and other venues. AACFs enable people who need assistance and their carers to visit those places, which they might not otherwise be able to do.

AACFs can vary in space and configuration, but generally include accessible toilets, adult-sized changing tables, electric or manually guided hoists, and sometimes showers. While these facilities are officially designated as Accessible Adult Changing Facilities, they can be used by people of all ages.

Some AACFs are part of another facility, for example, a swimming pool, and are only accessible during facility operating hours.  To check the opening hours of these facilities, visit the pages listed in the table below, or call Council's Contact Centre on 07 3403 8888 to confirm opening times.

Some facilities are locked for security purposes and to ensure they are available when required. Entry is easily gained by using a Master Locksmiths Access Key (MLAK). For details about how to obtain an MLAK (key), visit the Master Locksmiths website

The table below lists the locations of all Council AACFs.
