Mt Gravatt Centre Suburban Renewal Precinct

Brisbane City Council is creating a Suburban Renewal Precinct Plan (precinct plan) for Mt Gravatt Centre, to embrace the area’s character, expand opportunities for the local economy and allow more housing to be built.

What does a precinct plan do?

Suburban renewal precinct plans address land use and zoning, infrastructure, design, landscaping, heritage, connectivity and help create vibrant and resilient subtropical places.

The Mt Gravatt Centre precinct plan will seek to revitalise the precinct through new housing and employment opportunities particularly along the Logan Road corridor, while maximising connections to public transport and local destinations.

The precinct plan will be based on technical investigations, feedback from the community and reviews by the Queensland Government. Once completed, it will be adopted into Brisbane City Plan 2014 and used to guide and assess property development.
