Enjoy a mix of classic show tunes, Broadway, and popular music as you learn the exciting rhythms of tap dance. Dance for seniors boosts heart and lung health, strengthens bones and muscles to prevent falls, reduces loneliness, and may lower Alzheimer’s risk. Plus, it improves mood, balance, and flexibility – and it's loads of fun! Tap shoes are not essential to start this class. Starting with leather-soled shoes with a slight heel is recommended, and you can consider getting tap shoes later if you decide to attend regularly.
