Did you know that an amazing slice of Africa grows here in Brisbane? Join our volunteer guides on this special walk at Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha, discovering an extraordinary slice of Africa.
Experience a safari across the deserts, forests, rivers, and mountains of Southern Africa on this guided walk and discover the beauty of its plants and hear stories of their dangers, uses, history and magic.
Requirements: This walk includes moderate physical activity, including walking slightly longer distances, up gentle slopes and stairs or walking on some uneven surfaces. Some standing periods for guide explanations but no sitting. Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
Meeting point: Meet at the Visitor Information Centre.
Note: Walks may be subject to environmental conditions and guide capacity on the day.
