Join us for a free interactive half-day workshop where you&rsquo;ll learn about getting ready for bushfire season, fire ecology and what keeps the bush healthy. You&rsquo;ll also be doing a walking tour with environmental experts to learn about how bushfires start and grow, and how they impact your local bushland. Walk away from the workshop with the ability to:<ul> <li>Observe the health of your local environment</li> <li>Identify vegetation types and key habitat</li> <li>Understand fuel loads</li> <li>Recognise fire history</li> <li>Monitor vegetation and wildlife</li> <li>Follow regulations in your area.</li></ul> Catering and supporting materials will be provided for all participants. <em>This event is being delivered in partnership with Brisbane City Council and supported by the Queensland Fire &amp; Biodiversity Consortium and Get Ready Queensland.</em> Karawatha Forest Park and Discovery Centre, 149 Acacia Road, Karawatha
