The slq Gallery provides an ideal setting to showcase the finalist artworks, creating a welcoming and approachable environment for all attendees. We are proud to collaborate with the State Library, an institution dedicated to collecting and preserving Queensland's cultural heritage. This partnership allows us to continue telling the compelling stories of Brisbane artists and their sitters. The relocation of the Brisbane Portrait Prize to the slq Gallery not only enhances the overall art experience for the public but also signifies the growth and evolution of our portraiture competition.
