Experience the ultimate blend of sporty thrills and creative spills at Park Play, a free kids program nestled in the heart of Victoria Park! Mark your calendars for these winter school holidays and dive into a world of sports and craft where kids of all ages can unleash their talents and ignite their imaginations. Held on 24-26 June and 1-3 July from 9am&ndash;1pm each day, children will engage in a range of activities from soccer showdowns and egg and spoon races to crafting masterpieces &ndash; there&#39;s something for everyone to enjoy. Plus, get ready to groove and move with breakdancing workshops that&#39;ll have you spinning and twirling in no time! Whether you&#39;re a sports enthusiast, a craft connoisseur or a dance dynamo, there&#39;s endless fun waiting for you at Victoria Park. So, gather your friends and family for an unforgettable adventure at Park Play. Bookings are not required &ndash; simply show up on the day and join the fun. Entry via Gilchrist Avenue, Herston. All ages are welcome though activities are best enjoyed by kids aged 3-12 years old. Monday 24 June:<ul> <li>Breakdance workshop - Get ready to bust a move and step into the world of rhythm and movement. Learn cool moves, express yourself and build confidence in a fun-filled environment while making friends and creating memories.</li> <li>Woodwork skate parks - Come down and create your very own mini skate park. Using wood glue and a huge assortment of timber shapes, you will have the opportunity to create a 3D model to take home with you.</li></ul><p>Tuesday 25 June:</p><ul> <li>Athletic games -&nbsp;Test your strength and speed with a dose of fun with games like egg &amp; spoon races and rubber chicken javelin throwing!</li> <li>Craft games - Let&#39;s make, let&#39;s throw, let&#39;s run, let&#39;s wand, let&#39;s fly &ndash; it&#39;s crafting games &ndash; let&#39;s give it a try.</li></ul><p>Wednesday 26 June:</p><ul> <li>Touch Rugby League -&nbsp;Join us for a series of fun junior Touch Rugby League (TRL) skills and games. Our coaches will help you develop your skills and level up your game and become a master at TRL! Please wear enclosed shoes, no studs. Suitable for ages 5-12 years. For safety, numbers may be limited but wait times won&#39;t be long!</li> <li>Outdoor challenges with Scouts Queensland -&nbsp;Create your own flag, build a flagpole, and fly your own flag. Compete in the Scouts championships with tent building, water filtering and boiling and fire lighting.
